Estudio de Rutgers University
Rutgers study including college graduates with disabilities examined what led to student completion of their degree program. Students overwhelmingly credited their success to a positive mentoring relationship with either a faculty member or staff member within the Office of Disability/Special Services. Additional notable inner resources included self-awareness, interpersonal skills, and perseverance. Successful students were also self-advocates and accessed available services on campus.
